Kaffe block 2

Oh I'm having so much fun seeing everybody's blocks coming together. A big welcome to new members. I really enjoyed making up this second block:

I was trying to decide which of Kaffe's fabrics had white in them to make the white flowers, when Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks fabric came to mind.

Her round flowers fitted so perfectly, they even have their own centres.

2 down, 18 to go!!!!

  5. I'm getting very tempted here Cathy, I just love this version. Wil you trapunto shapes when you stitch around them for the quilting? LIke you I have so many applique projects that I'm seriously thinking on this version of applique.

  7. Oh, Cathy - what can one say! I will have to go back and re-read your applique method. I spent a couple of hours looking at Kaffe fabrics yesterday - isn't he a master? Glorious!

  9. You are right, those fussy-cut flowers are stunners. Are you machine blanket-stitching your appliques on?
