Your version is going to be fabulous! I'm looking forward to seeing the next block. (And the next, and the next...)
Wow!! the fabrics are just perfect your placement just compliments even more..I can't wait to see the next one!!
Love your block, great flowers too. Fussy cutting choice is just right
Fabulous fabric choice Cathy, it looks as if it was made for that block. I'm loving seeing these 'alternative brides'!LizzieXXX
I'm getting very tempted here Cathy, I just love this version. Wil you trapunto shapes when you stitch around them for the quilting? LIke you I have so many applique projects that I'm seriously thinking on this version of applique.
Looks great with the dark background. Love Kaffe's fabrics. Looking forward to more blocks - Hugs Natima
Oh, Cathy - what can one say! I will have to go back and re-read your applique method. I spent a couple of hours looking at Kaffe fabrics yesterday - isn't he a master? Glorious!Hugs - Lurline♥
Very clever! I love the flowers.
You are right, those fussy-cut flowers are stunners. Are you machine blanket-stitching your appliques on?
Cathy this looks sensational. I love Kaffe and I think this is going to be a stunner.
Cathy, I adore your blocks, and didn't realize when I just looked at them on your Cabbage Quilts blog that you had used AMH fabrics! Brilliant! I will be watching the progress with interest!
Hmmm. Google Follower isn't accepting me right now, so I'll be back later.
Thanks to everyone that is following our journey with the Civil War Bride Quilt. We love to read your comments and appreciate your encouragement...............
