Second Block in Bloom! .....

Block two is finished.....it took a while to "bloom" because I went through three flower fabrics that I had cut but finally settled on this final one. I'm pleased with the end result!
I'm having so much fun with this quilt!
My next block will be the "Peacock Twins". (Blk 7)

  5. Very Nice! Your fabric choices are cool, and I love your flower "centers!" And I really like a pieced background...

I can't wait to see your peacocks...I'm working on that one now, although I seemed to have lost a peacock along the way somewhere...

    In stitches,

I love this pattern and have been going back and forth over whether to start it. I'm extremely slow and also have a newborn.

  15. Your flowers look almost exotic! I would never have thought of the blue for the stems, but it works. It's very pretty!
