Proud Peacock or Block #2

Hello All
At last I have completed a second block for this quilt.
The peacock is reversed on purpose. Looking at the pattern most of the birds are facing the right side of the quilt. I wanted a few more to look toward the center.
I have the grapes for block 5 completed . I'm thinking about setting myself the goal of 1 block each month. Managable?

  2. Terry that is gorgeous. I particularly like the bird fabrics. I like the bird facing this way too. Um, I might have to think about that - Good job girl - Hugs Nat

  3. I love it great fabric choices too...I think one block a month is managable unless you are wokring on more than 5 projects (like me) Good idea to get the birds facing every-which-way

  4. Lovely, just lovely! What a great idea to turn the direction of the bird! The peacock feather fabric is perfect, as are all the fabrics! Nice embroidery on his head, as well.

I think a block a month is a great idea...I'm (stupidly) feeling more driven because I want to finish it for a May quilt show (really impossible - not sure why I think I can do THAT).

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

  8. I love your colors. Soft, but not washed out. The block is wonderful. Good luck with your 1 per month goal. I can't do it that quickly.

  9. Fabulous Terry, I too like the bird facing the other way, just a bit different. One block a month sounds great, wish I could achieve that at the moment!!

  10. Wow, a block a month....ambitious! If you're like me (with other projects at the same time), it'll never happen for me to finish one block a month! Good luck to you! By the way, I like your fabric choices for your peacock!
