I Think I'm In Love....

Is he not handsome? A good provider and let's admit it, there's some sexy somewhere under those tights. Giggle.

I am so thrilled he is finished, believe it or not, there are  60 pieces on this block.  Measuring just 5x7, I have to admit, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, though in the end, stitching the block was so worth it! I am thinking something really simple for the next one.

The blocks do look great all together. Yes, there is only 3 finished for now, and there will be more to come.

Thanks to everyone, for keeping me inspired, life get's in the way sometimes, but reading everyone's stories and looking at all of the beautiful blocks here on this blog are so inspiring.
Hugs to everyone,
Bobbie

  1. Ooooo! He's dead sexy, even in his 5 x 7 size!! (Size isn't everything!)

Very nice, and even more so in the tiny size! I love the French knots around the blossom centers - such a nice, crowning touch!

I've been looking at my own dark background so much...your lovely, creamy one is so cheerful and shows off you lovely choice of fabrics so well!

Keep on keeping on...I can't wait to see which one you'll do next!

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

  4. He looks like quite the gentleman! How large is your finished quilt going to be? I plan on having a groom, too, although he is a cavalryman with one of the New York cavalry units.

  13. Thanks everyone for the wonderful kudos and encouragement. Some of you asked the size? I really do not know, originally I thought to only work on 9 altogether, but the more that I see all of the blocks shown as a group, I am rethinking that decision. We shall see...

    Thanks again,
    Bobbie
