My first Block

Hello Everyone Well here goes my first block. It is such a treat to be making this beautiful quilt. I have been following all the progress so far and I am thrilled to be able to contribute. My friend ( Susanna Quilts ) and I are working on this together, it is great inspiration. I have used the invisible machine applique method as I would like to get better at this technique. So far I have found it to be a very enjoyable challenge. I can't wait to start the next block. Happy Quilting Sharon Pinewood

  5. Yay!! Sharon. Looks great and now I must get my first one going. I'm worried that my background is too creamy/tan.
Very well done. Looks great and machine appliqued into the bargain!!
