my cwbq top is finished,hurrah!

i think the borer was nearly so much to applique as the middle was,but now it`s done and i am glad,i shall handquilt it in our holidays in sweden,so my DH must cook and dish and... i had to make some changes on the borders because i made it a bit wider to have more space for quilting.

  18. Oh Susi, it is fantastic! Really, words don't do it justice!! You are amazing to have such a fast and artful finish!! I love the wider borders, and the owls are so darn adorable!

I've been staying away from the computer the last day or so, stitching like crazy to finish myself...I thought I would take a peek today because a little bird told me that you had probably finished and posted. Voila! What a sweet surprise!!

I finished stitching my last 2 borders last I need to soak and trim them so I can attach them to the body of the quilt, then applique the 2 leaves and the apple that will connect the corner.

But DD only has a half day of school today and she has planned my afternoon....

I chose not to do the owls, but yours are so sweet that I miss them already!

    You are truly amazing!!

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

You have inspired me to start my first block this weekend...

Your fabric choices and stiching are lovely.
I'm sure that we would all appreciate any hints that you would care to share... Did you use the starch method of applique?
