Susi,Oh my gosh! It is truly stunning, you out did yourself. I am so very impressed. Thank you ever so much for the wonderful pics. They give us all hope that we will one day finish our own brides. Great big hug to you. Well done!Bobbie Ashleywww.bobbieashley.com
Congratulations Susi. Beautiful quilt. Hugs, Jeanette
Oh Susi, it is beautiful!! I think you used a fluffier batt than I did, which makes your quilting stitching stand out nicely. I used the "request" loft of Dream Cotton which needled well, but is a very light batt.I love the fact that you put empty space between the blocks and the borders. It is very pleasing and keeps things from being too busy. That was one reason I didn't put the border all the way around mine. And the space allows you to show off more hand quilting. Perfect!I can relate to the sad feeling of being finished. It will be fun to continue to watch everyone else post blocks, though.I am looking forward to taking my quilt to the show tomorrow afternoon. When I actually go back to the show at the end of the week, I will take better pictures (after someone else hangs it nicely - LOL) and post again. I hope you scout out a nice show or two to enter yours into...people need to see and appreciate all your efforts!Let's find another joint project to do with other people - this has, and continues to be, a blast!! (got another idea, Lizzie???)In stitches,Teresa :o)
Susi it is beautiful, I can't find any other words, it is just gorgeous. Never did I think, less that a year ago that I would be looking at not one but two completed bride quilts on this blog, in the same week!!! Like Teresa, you inspire us all to complete our brides, when I see your quilt so beautifully quilted and bound I just want to stitch until I finish mine. Congratulation, well done and don't abandon us now, we need you to push us all along....Lizziexxx
Oh my goodness it is just beautiful Susi. The quilt pattern between the blocks and border is very nice. You and Teresa are quilting rock stars!Cheri

Unbelievable! We will surely see your quilts in museums... I'm so glad to have found you! I recently began blogging in Feb. and live on an island w/no bridges to mainland, stores, mail or anything but miles of atlantic beaches and wild horses, my quilting, husband and two pups. I love your site and will come back often. I'm only just beginning my dear jane journey and will probably put a twist on it... So incredible, I'm leaving you today in awe. thank you
