Robins

It's been quite some time since I've completed one of these blocks - spring finally arrived here along with lots of robins so I featured one in this block. I think I might be a little short on the berries and may add more later. This is the 4th block I've completed but I've got a good start on number 5. The blocks that are being posted are so beautiful and I check this blog often hoping to see another new one - thanks to all of you for the inspiration. Debra

  3. Debra love your robin foraging around for food. I spent this spring in the U.S. for the first time in almost 20 years and your block depicts robin behaviour perfectly.
    Love it .Happy Stitching Terry

  7. Yippee...more CWB eye candy! Debra, I love the robin, and the berries are so nice and bright...just the right touch of heat with the depth of the other fabrics. Simply beautifully done.

It's exciting to watch the momentum building...who will be next to post!?!

  14. Debra, what a great addition to your quilt. Any quilt with birds is a winner. You have made me rethink my idea of adding black crows to my border. Maybe a berry in their mouths. We shall see. I do love your colors, very earthy and beautiful. We are all looking forward to more of your wonderful blocks.

    Blissfully Stitching,
