#1 is finished

This project is just too fun!!! I finished my first block and can hardly wait to start on #2. I am using two Moda designer fabrics: Verna by Kate Spain and Eva by Basic Gray. Also am throwing in a bit of Anna Maria Horner, Kaffe Fassett, and Amy Butler. My background is white with small white swirls.

  1. Kay,

How bright and truly lovely. Just love the vase, the fabric you chose is just perfect. Very psychedelic and eye catching at the same time. My eye travels from one point to the other, excellent choices. I just love how everyone is making this quilt their very own. Great job!

    Cheers,
    Bobbie

  10. Hi Kay,

Great fabrics...I love the idea of modern fabrics. It seems like someone started doing this quilt with Kaffe Fassett many many moons ago, and only posted one block. I can't wait to see how your quilt progresses because I think it could be really cool in modern cottons. Way to think outside the box!

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

  13. Hi Anonymous
Darlene told me you'd posted. No, they do not and were not interested in offering the pattern or block of the month. I bought the pattern from Threadbare in Australia but there are several US shops now offering both the pattern and BOM. I'm not at the shop any more.
