Block #1

This is block #1. The pink flowers remind me of Pink Heath (Correa), Victoria's floral emblem.
Just perfect!!
I'm not sure whether the yellow bits are meant to be leaves or flowers, so I compromised.
I have finished 9 blocks so far, and started 2 others. Looking at these blocks all together, they are starting to look a bit pale... I'd better inject some more colour into this quilt!

  2. I love your block! I like that you made the flowers a meaningful color to personalize your quilt. They look nice in pink. I wouldn't say your blocks look pale at all. I think they look amazing together.

Also, thanks for "tagging" your blocks with both the block number and your name. It can be hard to go back through the posts to figure out whose block is whose - and I'm nosy, I want to see them all. It's very motivating.
