Block #8, Fruit

Another block on the finished side of the ledger for me.  This one is the Fruit block, #8.  I'm not making these in order but coincidentally this is the 8th block I've made.  I really enjoyed making this block.  It just seems like a happy block to me - maybe because of the yellow.  There are still an awful lot of blocks to go.  Sure am glad I have you gals here for encouragement so I'll keep pushing forward.

  2. Way to go Linda...#8 looks great!! You are really cruising now! I loved making this block as well...it is very happy block (maybe I think that because I remember it having less leaves...LOL).

    Really lovely.

    In stitches,

  3. Oh it is cute Linda, I am almost finsihed with this block. I think it was fun because of the big pieces and the bright colors. I have been working on assemblying the bird of paradise also, I might actually get a block done before the very end of the month.

Happy Stitching and on to block 9 Linda.

  5. Beautiful block Linda...I especially love anything with pears in it. Maybe I should make this one my next block as I seem to be at a bit of a standstill.

Very nice! Love the pears and strawberries. I wish I was the kind of person who could jump around but I'm not. I am almost finished with #4 (the one with the grapes) and then will move on to #5 (one with MORE leaves!)
