My CWB block 2

I like the block over all.  But, I made a few placement errors and ended up with a few less leaves on the block.  I can live with that but next block I will be a little more careful.  I decided to start block 3 and the left border and alternate between blocks and borders.  --Susan

  1. BEAUTIFUL block! I'm a huge fan of variety in the greens for leaves. What a great idea to alternate working on blocks and borders! I wish I had thought of that.

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

  2. Susan,
What a nice job you did! Look at all of those leaves with their perfect points, oh my. They are fabulous. Again, I do like your color palette, there is something very soothing about it, maybe it is just me. Can't wait to see what's coming next....

  3. Your block looks beautiful! I found it difficult to crowd all those leaves in there too. I like how you fussy cut the flower centers. :0)

  4. This is my second favourite block, the bride block is my all out fave, lovely greens in the leaves. What a good idea to alternate the border with blocks, well done...

  5. That is lovely, such pretty greens. I too found it hard to fit all the leaves in, but who is counting? Ann in N.Z.

  6. this is beautiful! I like the subtle print you used for your flowers, and your leaves are fabulous!!
Lots and lots and lots of leaves, no?
