hi,all of your blocks are very nice, happy stitching, susi
Wow! this block is just beautiful. Love the colors, such a nice contrast with the darker colors. And the little hint of yellow just catches your eye. Great job!
IT IS A VERY STRIKING BLOCK!!! One that stands out! Beautiful!
Your blocks are wonderful!! I can't wait to see them all together. Your bird of paradise turned out so well - I'm a bit afraid of doing the tail so I haven't started this block yet. :0)
Hi Texas Jane,Do you have a life outside of the Civil War Quilt?Do you start at 6 am and do nothing else all day?Your blocks are great and before you know it you will have finished this great work of art.Keep up the good work.
Jane, your blocks are really pretty. Thanks for catching us up on all of your completed blocks. I am looking forward to seeing them all together. Happy Stitching,Cheri
it"s gorgeous! i can't wait to get to do that block!
Thanks for all your comments. Lorene, LOL, I do have a life outside CWQ although I admit I am a bit addicted! I am lucky enough to be a retired teacher/librarian, but I have 2 part time jobs and 2 grandchildren as well as friendship groups, exercise classes, and I love to read. Sometimes it is hard to fit it all in, but I enjoy it all! I average about 2 blocks a month. I usually do all my applique in the evening. My husband and I love to watch movies via Netflix, and I absolutely cannot watch without sewing...subtitled films don't work for me as I really mostly listen!
Your paradise bird is beautiful...I love the deep, dramatic colors! In stitches,Teresa :o)
Thanks to everyone that is following our journey with the Civil War Bride Quilt. We love to read your comments and appreciate your encouragement...............
