Here comes the bride

I have really enjoyed the creative ways that other people have done this block. Mine is pretty true to the original, but I enjoyed stitching her! I used a Pigma pen for her features, but I may use a strand of embroidery thread later.

    Your first three blocks are looking great. What background fabric are you using? It looks like a muslin maybe? Whatever it is, it is a nice stage for your applique.

  2. Thank you. The background is called Shadow Play by Maywood Studio. It is kind of a tone on tone which has a very light gold look especially in sunlight. It is a beautiful fabric.
