You're right. It has been quiet here. I've been busy with the CWB quilt of course and am now starting block 5.Hope everyone is ok in Australian.
I would not be surprised if some of those who started have gotten side tracked and put the bride away. Some have finished! and some just need a kick in the pants to get on with it! Sew we go...
You have to remember ladies that it's summer here in Australia and the beginning of the new school year. Most of us are quite busy with life and we don't condone 'kicking in the pants' in this group. We work to our own pace and we don't let the quilt police in....AT ALLLizzie
I am really looking foreward to autumn and winter when my CWBQ will see the light of day again,it is too hot and too many other things to do during summer in N.Z. I too hope all you ladies in australia are not affected by the dreadful weather you have been having.
I'm hoping to complete another block this week..
Thank you! I forget sometimes that Oz is the opposite of the US. How does the school year run for you? Do you have semesters like we do? We have 4 marking periods each school year. Here in NY, kids have to do 180 days of school.
Thanks to everyone that is following our journey with the Civil War Bride Quilt. We love to read your comments and appreciate your encouragement...............
