Yeah Kathleen! You are now officially 1/4 of the way done with the blocks! Congratulations! I like the house block. The surrounding flowers look like the bride block flowers. Are you replacing her? Or just borrowing her background?Keep up the good work!Judy
I had done the bride but unfortunately, she was a mess and everytime I looked at the block I was disappointed so I decided to replace her with a house block because I love houses.I'm probably my own worst critic, but in the end I wanted a quilt I could enjoy without cringing about 1 block.
Your idea to do a house block was very inspired. Your blocks are lovely!
I like seeing everyone's progress on their quilt blocks though I am not a participant. Oh, I do have the patterns....just not stitching them now.
Your house block is so cute, pity your're not doing the bride block. Maybe you'll get more confident, read less critical, later!
I love the idea of the cute little cottage in the lush garden - nicely done!In stitches,Teresa :o)
Your blocks look beautiful together!
Thanks to everyone that is following our journey with the Civil War Bride Quilt. We love to read your comments and appreciate your encouragement...............
