will the quilting be your fun part? how are you going to quilt it? outlining?

  6. Yahoo! This is just STUNNING!! It is so beautifully balanced in color and design. Isn't it amazing what you can get done in a year? The workmanship is so amazing, and I just adore the block with the sheep! I can't wait to see how you quilt it, and I'll bet that will be a totally enjoyable process.

Now THAT'S the way to get it DONE!

    Now, who's next?!?

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

What a lovely accomplishment, Cheri, a nice reminder of a year well spent. Your finished top is an incentive to all of us still stitching blocks with no borders yet in sight.

  15. Cheri, what a stunner! It is just perfect! Congratulations! Will you handquilt it now? I am so envious of your accomplishment and hope to someday get there as well!

    Many greetings from the Rhine,

  16. congratulations, Cheri! It's beautiful! Can't wait to see what quilting designs you decide on.

  17. Cheri,
What an inspiration for the rest of us....yes, it can be finished. It turned out just beautifully, you really did a wonderful job. Truly made it your own with the personal touches. I think we are all making the original creator of this quilt, proud.
Can't wait to see it finished. Congrats to you!

  18. I love your quilt top. You have done such a nice job of arranging your blocks. I think the original one by Threadbear is great, but I like yours even better....I notice that you have turned the "dead bird" upright like I did.

  19. Beautiful quilt! Aren't quilters amazing? Who else is content to work on something for a year or more and find such contentment in the process? In this world of instant gratification quilters are truly unique. Your time was well-spent on a keepsake quilt. Congratulations!

  20. It is awesome! I am now just working on my first block! Thank you for setting such a good example!!!
