Block 5 of my Civil War Bride Quilt

Here is my 5th block. Once again the feet of the birds was the biggest challenge. Also looking at the picture the eggs seem to disappear but the actual block it looks fine.

Just cut out the pieces for the 6th block and that one also requires dealing with toes !!!

  4. Actually it was pretty smart of you to camoflouge the birds eggs, that way predators can't get at them! Isn't that a nice way to explain why the eggs blend into the nest. Nice job with the birds, I love the fact that they aren't the same.

  7. Great fabric choices. The leaves are wonderful. Your leaves are great and really make the block just pop.
    I also really like that the birds are not the same colors.
