Here Comes the Bride.....

I'm back....it's been awhile since I've posted because we've moved from California to Oregon, so with a big move, it's taken me awhile to get back on track with this quilt. Am now discovering awesome quilt shops here and in Washington since I'm in close proximity. I rearranged elements differently than the original bride block. The only tricky parts were the "layering" of her hands holding the vines.

  6. What a beautiful bride block!! You've almost inspired me to get back to work on my own blocks. I would love to hear about the quilt shops in Washington and Oregon. I may be in the region for work this fall and know nothing about the local quilt shops.

  10. Great job an beautiful work ! I would love to make this quilt too. Dare I, however? I just finished doing a Sue Garman "Ladies of the Sea" quilt. I think I need a breather from applique for a while, but ooooh, this pattern is enticing. Dare I?

  12. A beleza destes blocos não está apenas na confecção, mas também na escolha cuidadosa dos tecidos e das cores que compõe estes trabalhos.
    Simplesmente maravilhosos.
