AQS Des Moines Winner

Karen was a WINNER at AQS Des Moines 2011 show, 2nd place. They did call her the night before the show opened but she didn't hear her cell phone and never thought to check it until she called her husband at home on opening morning after the announcement. She was very surprised and shocked. I told her she could be a winner and she had to enter this quilt, she's glad she did! Posted a close up showing her beautiful embroidery work. I heard many great comments about her quilt at the show. All the winners will be in the next AQS magazine.
Going to post mine next on Glorious Applique blog

  1. Gorgeous! I was fortunate to see it in person (maybe that would be in the cloth!) and it definitely deserved to win. Congratulations, Karen!
