Always find time to stitch!

August was a busy month with a week's holidays at the cottage and (finally!) finishing Amy's wedding quilt.

I did manage to find a few spare moments to complete Block #2 of The Civil War Bride Quilt.
This block was not difficult at all.  It just has a lot of pieces!  Now... on to #3!
If you have time, check out my other blog.  It is simplebirdapplique.com.

Cheers!

  1. What great work! I love the vase and pedestal material and may redo my vase to have a similar one. That is what is so great about this site...the ability to see how others interpret the design in fabric. Those of us who are doing the quilt a little later than the MASSES get that advantage. I'll post a couple squares I have finished early next week.

  2. You are so right! We are all fortunate to be able to see what everyone else is doing! Can't wait to see your blocks!

  3. I love the colours you have chosen. I'm still pluuging away and I find that the prep work takes me longer than the stitching LOL
