Simple, but challenging!

This strawberry block was both really simple, and really challenging!
The stems and strawberries were the really simple part.

 .
The tops of the strawberries were another story!  A little challenging!

Here is the block finished.
And here are all my blocks so far!

  1. Just lovely. I struggled with keeping the stems going upward like the original pattern or downward as they actually grow.....In the end I went with the pattern as it just looked more balanced. Such a fun block to do. Great job!

  2. Looking lovely! I can see the challenge with the strawberry tops ..but well done because they do make such a difference don't they? Your blocks are beautiful. This is another quilt on my list to do, sigh:)

  4. This is one of the blocks I've been putting off - the tops certainly look fiddly.
