This block made me hungry!

The next block of The Civil War Bride Quilt has some fairly large pieces in it. So, it went together quickly!
First I stitched the stems in place.

Next, I added a couple of leaves and a bunch of grapes.

Next came the pears, strawberries and apples.

And here is the finished block!

I was feeling a little hungry, so I went to the fridge and dug out an apple, a pear, some strawberries and some grapes and dried cherries.

Added some pecans and...Voila!  A very healthy snack!

Keep stitching...

Another block finished!

This block from the Civil War Bride Quilt went together fairly quickly!
First I stitched the stems in place.

Then I added some pretty buds.

Next came some leaves and a few spring flowers.

And, finally, the block is finished!

Keep stitching,

Two new Blocks and a Drawing

Since last time I finished two more blocks,
and block 12 where I took away some of the flowers, and put in two little birds

I also decided to have a Groom, and have used block #6 to draw my Groom block

This is the one I am working on at the moment.

Hello everyone...

I've had a few emails asking me if I could change the background of the blog as it was difficult to see the posts! I thought that I would do a complete revamp, make it a little lighter, text a little bigger and easier to see. Take away all the frilly, fancy stuff so that the concentration is totally on all your amazing blocks......

You should be able to post larger photos too if you wanted to....hope you are all happy with the new look and it didn't give you too much of a shock when you came to visit... :o)

Red Robin

A little progress, finished my 10th block.
Ten to go.
It has been to long since I finished CWB block.
When I saw Jane's blocks I wanted to start again.
So here I am.
