Almost there.....

This peacock hen block is my 19th block finished!  The little circles were a challenge, but got it done!  My 20th block is done as well but I'm having trouble uploading the image...will upload soon.  Keep stitching!

  1. Mona- All of your blocks are magnificent!!! How did you do the circles?

    1. I needle turn applique the circles using DMC machine embroidery 50 weight thread. I use only three colored threads for my applique, 644 for light, 642 for medium, 640 for dark color fabrics. The DMC threads bury into the fabrics nicely. Thanks for your question.

  2. I love your peahen, she looks like she is dancing. Her spotted tail is beautiful, well worth the effort. I always enjoy seeing one of your completed blocks pop up on the blog, they are very unique to you.

  3. What a beautiful block!! I love the colours you have used!

  4. I really love the quilt! The colors are fantastic! :)
    Happy Easter!
    Hugs, Ulla

  5. Another beautiful block! Love the colors! For circles I use the Karen Buckley Perfect Circle templates. - Debra
